Et c’est ainsi que le roi, lassé de ces tensions, lassé de ces futilités, entreprit de tout abandonner. Il se débarrassa de sa toge, de son habit, de sa couronne. De tout ce qui pouvait lui rappeler cette imposture, de tous ses atours artificiels qui faisaient de lui ce qu’il n’était finalement pas. D’un pas calme et serein, il se dirigea vers ses quartiers avec la ferme intention d’en finir avec la fragilité de sa position. Il n’était rien. Rien de recommandable, rien de fiable. Il ne faisait rien qui puisse le rendre fier de quoi que ce soit. Il exerçait sa fonction avec la plus abjecte des prudences. Il posa sa chevalière sur son bureau, laissa tomber sa tunique à ses pieds, et songea à tout ce qui avait pu le conduire à une telle décision. Il se rendit sur sa terrasse et contempla une dernière fois la vue exceptionnelle qu’offrait Estemont. Et alors qu’une dernière larme traversait sa joue gauche pour aller mourir dans son cou, il enjamba la balustrade avant de s’offrir un dernier saut…

Here it comes. The second split split with my dear friend Dantefever, and that release will probably stay as the very last of Det Svarta Landet. After nine releases, I feel the need to do something else with an other project.

The tracks of Det Svarta Landet in that split deals with that will to end everything by telling the gloomy story of one of the kings of the realm.

That is the end of Det Svarta Landet, thank you very much to all the dungeon synth community for its amazing and unexpected support.

A tape edition will be available very soon, stay tuned.
